Ready Prompt works without an account. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number. We collect minimal, mostly anonymous data needed to run the site: privacy-friendly usage analytics, like counts with basic abuse protection, and standard advertising cookies from our ad partners. We never sell your personal information.

When you use the site, we may collect:

Usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and how the site performs. This data is anonymised and does not identify you personally.

Likes. When you tap the heart on a prompt, a counter is stored on our server along with a temporary, hashed record of your network address purely to prevent spam and double-counting. This record is kept for up to 30 days and is never used for tracking or marketing.

On-device storage. Your theme preference and the prompts you've liked are remembered in your own browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it anytime from your browser settings.

We show ads from third-party networks (such as Monetag and Adsterra) to keep the site free. These partners may set cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, show you relevant creatives, and detect fraud. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

You can control cookies through your browser settings — blocking or deleting cookies at any time. Note that some site features (like remembering your theme) rely on local storage and may reset if you clear it.

We use the data above only to operate and improve the site: keeping pages fast, deciding which prompts and categories to add next, preventing abuse of the like system, and funding the project through advertising. We do not build profiles about you, and we do not share personal data with third parties except as required to run the site (hosting, analytics, advertising) or by law.

Analytics data is kept in aggregated form. Spam-prevention records for likes expire automatically after 30 days. We protect our systems with HTTPS everywhere, server firewalls, login-attempt limits, and rate limiting on public endpoints. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard the limited data we hold.

Ready Prompt is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser storage. For anything else, contact us through the channels below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
